Yannick Max Schindler
I am a PhD candidate in the Centre for Macroeconomics at the London School of Economics (LSE) with research interests in macroeconomics, financial intermediation, and the economics of longevity. I also hold research fellow positions at London Business School (LBS), the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford, and the Centre on Longevity at Stanford University. In my work, I combine tools from macro theory with novel empirical methods, including text-as-data and large language models.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Princeton University and as a Research Analyst at the European Central Bank.
I am on the academic job market in the 2024/25 cycle.
